It doesn't end there. The Jeep brand has been building industry-leading 4x4 vehicles for more than 60 years. To be worthy of the Jeep badge, Commander was also required to have legendary Jeep off-road capability. It does - plus on-road driving refinement - because it is equipped with the same under-the-skin components as the award-winning Jeep Grand Cherokee. As a result, the new 2006 Jeep Commander is the most capable seven-passenger 4x4. In 2004, Chrysler Group invested $241 million at the Jefferson North Assembly Plant (JNAP) in Detroit, significantly renovating the body and paint shops to accommodate the production of the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Commander. There were also Commander-specific modifications. For example, more than $20 million was invested to make changes along the assembly line, from body-in- white to final assembly. As a result of these and other changes, the ability to produce the Grand Cherokee and the new Commander on the same line makes JNAP the latest example of the company's flexible manufacturing strategy.

Dodge Caliber 250 Chrysler, which just rounded out a year or so of fantastic launches including the Chrysler 300, Dodge Magnum, Dodge Charger and the all-new Jeep Grand Cherokee, isn't stopping there. Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited Stroller by Kolcraft
Just like its larger namesake in the car world, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited stroller is tough and made for travel, whether it's a trip to the local park or an all-day stroll through the woods. It has a strong, lightweight steel frame, durable nylon and ripstop fabrics usually found on camping gear, and so much storage space, you can bring picnic supplies for a crowd. Plus, with all-terrain wheels and front shock absorbers, this stroller is comfy and easy to maneuver on city curbs or mountain passes. If your baby gets tired of the view, he can turn the "key" or push buttons on a removable electronic toy steering wheel that makes realistic car noises. Remove the steering wheel and you have a handy snack tray with a cup holder.

Mr. G: 1996 Grand Cherokee just had new brakes put in. Get a "thump, thump, thump" when braking - doesn't seem to affect the time it takes to stop. The shop (national chain) says nothing to worry about.
