jeep decals

Markings on military vehicles
By 1944, transfers (water based decals) were being made and issued for marking vehicles. The decals were for the formation signs, and for background colours for unit signs. This saved many hours of work and greatly improved the quality. Canadian Infantry Division jeep decal (peel & stick) likely dating from the 1950s as used on vehicles and artillery spotting L-19 aircraft. It is basically identical to the WWII version except that that was a water transfer. The red colour is too pink in this scanned image.

1985 CJ-7 Frame up w/ Wrangler Tub
Up for Sale is a 1985 Jeep CJ-7 that was purchased about 6 months ago as someones unfinished project and has undergone over 300 hours worth of modifications to take a 1991 galvanized Jeep Wrangler tub and swap it onto the Jeep CJ-7 frame. This Jeep sports a centerforce clutch as well, so this Jeep is not for the faint of heart. You need a strong left leg to drive it. The motor runs very strong now that it sports a brand new WEBER 2bbl carburetor. The rebuilt motor has only 10,000 miles on it, so when you step on the gas, you get up and move fast. The odomoeter says 132,000 just in case you see the pictures and are confused by it. This will show you a little bit better what has been done to the Jeep over the past 6 months. It is really one nice complete Jeep that has had no stone left unturned. It is ready for you to take it to the next level.
