In the first version of Photo Story, you couldn't edit your project after you closed it. If you wanted to add a picture or change your narration, you had to start over from scratch. If you were putting together a quick story showing off pictures from a trip, this was acceptable. However, many readers wanted to update their stories over time. Because you'll lose a great deal of detail when saving your slide show to a Video CD, you should crop pictures as closely as possible before importing them into Photo Story. As long as the cropped portion of the picture is larger than 352 x 240, it won't appear blurry on a TV. If you want to use a vertical picture, crop it so that it is square. Vertical pictures don't fit well onto the horizontal screen of a TV, and Photo Story will show your pictures with black borders on the left and righteven if you zoom in as close as possible.
