The Jeep Rubicon is perhaps one of the most trail-capable production vehicles to roll off a production line, with its low-ratio T-case, Dana 44s front and rear, and air lockers. Its only downfall is the lack of ground clearance. With a few modifications, though, the vehicle becomes a quite capable trail machine. Eric corrected this problem with Fabtechs 6-inch lift suspension system.

The H1 is not as capable as the Galendawagen or the Jeep Rubicon offroad - it's too damn big and heavy. The review actually mentions that he had trouble going on the jeep trails, as it was too wide (a common complaint from the grunts in Iraq on patrol in the city). The only way to make the no-live-axle trick work is to ruin the functionality of the vehicle by making it wider than is feaseable and taking away a lot of interior room. Elegant? Try impractical. This thing is really a competitor to the Unimog, or should be. A great offroad commercial truck for fire departments, logging and mining operations and suchlike.
