For 2006 the Jeep Wrangler is available in six models-SE, X, Sport, Rubicon, Unlimited (also with Premium Package), and Unlimited Rubicon. The Unlimited models are 15-inches longer than the short wheelbase versions which translates to 13 additional inches of cargo room and 2 more inches of second-row passenger legroom. New for 2006 is a Golden Eagle Edition, which has not been part of the line-up since the 1980's. It features Dana 44 heavy duty rear axle, gold Ravine aluminum wheels, 30-inch tires, silver painted center stack, and Golden Eagle exterior detailing.
